Kath Teufel is a certified advanced expert in faux finishes with a strong foundation in European finishes, plastering, marbling and custom wall murals. Some of the schools that she has attended include the following:

  • Studied under the great William Cochran
  • Waukesha County Technical College for Interior Design and Marketing

Kath is a freelance artist who has successfully completed commercial and residential murals and faux finishes that require planning, follow through, and results that exceed client objectives.

Her work has been seen in Parade of Homes throughout Wisconsin. You can also see her work in Bethany St. Joseph Hospitals in Wisconsin and Minnesota with wall murals in excess of 75 feet depicting visions of the surrounding area in the early 1900’s.

Kath has also donated time to illustrate five children’s books and to paint and faux finish group homes for the mentally disabled.

Kath’s thirst for knowledge is demonstrated by the fact that she constantly attends schools to further her education. She has also won several awards, including placing 1st in the Wisconsin Marketing and Management Association design competition and National competition.
